I'm kind of sad that there are now a million different tools to create random generators, because all the cool stuff is scattered about hither and thither. Abulafia (http://www.random-generator.com/ ) has long been my favorite for various reasons, but there are some practical issues for it to be the central attractor going forward. However! Perchance (https://perchance.org/welcome ) looks like a good successor. It has everything that made Abulafia appealing, and then some. It even has a convertor for Abulafia generators. Behold my ridiculously over-detailed Strange New Tree generator, converted from Abulafia (only required a few spot-fixes): https://perchance.org/strange-new-trees I think Perchance has the best mix of features that promise a really nice experience, giving it a shot at being the future Obvious Choice. Discoverability remains somewhat of a problem, but that can always be solved by something other than the tool itself.

I really liked the link-paste random generators on Last Gasp Grimoire but I went back there recently and couldn't find some of the very useful functions, like the ability to turn links back into lists and edit them. https://www.lastgaspgrimoire.com/generators/choose-your-own-generator/

This looks super easy and useful. Thanks for pointing at it, David!

I've created a generator using Perchance in the past and it was quick and easy to do.
