@Paolo I'm stuggling to get my head around combat. In the videogame half of combat is literally running away from bullets so that they miss by running out of range. This will not work well in a turn based RPG. So I'm thinking of alternatives. Inspiration 1: Range is initiative. Gun them down before they get into range and you can take out hordes of giant frogs, lizardmen and robots without taking a scratch. Sounds like fun, at least until one gets through. Thought 2: This will require a lot of careful balancing or a little bit of GTFO currency for the PCs. Waitaminute, they have limited area effect attack specials in the game! Thought 3: Cover will be required for fighting enemies with a longer range than the PCs. !!!OMG Gears of War is 3D Chaos Engine!!! And it has the best weapons ever. Assault rifle with chainsaw. Massive bolt action sniper rife which crits A LOT (and always crits when used as a club) The missile launcher is a bow & arrow. *The Hammer of Dawn* Classes: Light Pistols & smgs, knife Sneak, climb, hack, languages Good at dodging Medium Shotguns, rifles. Better armour. Some skills Good at mental saves Heavy Rocket launcher, lightning gun All the armour. Break things skill Tough saves.

Have the players roll to Dodge instead of having the DM roll to hit them, cover adds bonuses.
