After two more sessions running Dungeonsnack, I'm wondering if I'll ever have a use for Lunchtime Dungeons outside of my current office game. I mean, when running 'campaign' that runs for a grand total of six or eight hours, who needs shit like character classes, the polyhedron suite, or magic schools? I might indefinitely pause the development of that game. (Or make a quick laid out document and release it as an unsupported PWYW ashcan?) Thinking out loud here. Thoughts are welcome even if you haven't seen the games =)

Publish it in a zine

"release early, release often", they say. I'm not sure of the diffΓ©rences between Dungeonsnack & Lunchtime Dungeons, but if LD is used on your lunchtime sessions, maybe it's because it's usable (and useful, even). But maybe I don't measure as precisely as you do the burden of making them both a "true" publication...

I second the zine proposal.

The zine is a good idea. Thanks! Bruno, LD has more moving parts and also some character development. DS is the bare minimum for fun adventure in a short period of time.

I suggest zine or ashcan.

ASHCAN, the Zine! Hey srsly it could be an idea: every month or so, publish an unfinished game by someone different.

Heh. And a permissive license to allow readers/hackers to finish them
😊 Paolo Greco @ 2019-08-18 05:41:31
It's doable
