Given Harald's capsule review of Forbidden Lands, it's interesting to note that Paul Beakley has just unboxed Invisible Sun with a view to doing an extended in-depth revew of it: https://www.indiegamereadingclub.com/indie-game-reading-club/coming-soon-invisible-sun-as-a-game-and-social-artifact/

Thanks for posting this link! I went ahead and read the review of "The Key" as well. It sounds like this is a very high-production-values version of "The Strange", maybe? With both the production values and the writing intended to encouraging a blurring of the character and the player? I did cringe when I read one part though: "Fourth choice is your Soul (โ€œkaโ€). Itโ€™s a secret stat! You donโ€™t tell anyone what it is, and you write it down somewhere other than your character sheet. There are thirteen choices and they have mechanical benefits, but if you use them, yikes, someone else knows what your secret soul is now." I guess if you're into social deduction games, like Werewolf, that mechanic might be appealing? I don't like those games though, and I don't think I like this.
